Writing your own narrative

The Bible says in Isaiah 48:10 - "Behold, I have refined you, but not with silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction". Our Almighty God has not drop the pen that he is using to write yours and my story and so keep the faith and walk with the Holy Spirit for better understanding of your purpose.

Good morning and happy Saturday. Today I wanted to talk about writing your own narrative. I remember when I was going through , and my aunt (Ahmia R. Chapman) told me Jasmine, you have to write your own narrative you cannot allow the devil to torment you. You can’t allow him to feel your mind with not real and not so nice thoughts. You have to take your life back. So today I want to talk about writing your own narrative/taking your life back. You might be thinking what does that mean, well how do you see yourself?. Something Traumatic has happened , but as I stated in a previous blog yes we all are going to grieve , yes we grieve in a different way nobody grieves the same way, but you cannot stay in this place. What are you going to do? how do you see your life now that your love one isn’t here? Do you think your love one will want you to stay in a place of sadness, or stay in a place where it’s dark all the time? No your love one would want you to smile, yes we miss them but they’ll want you to be happy. They would want you to move on and live your life just not for you, but for your children for your family and the number one person GOD.

So let’s begin to write our own narrative. When I was at my rock bottom I’m not going to lie I did not know what that meant, but as I started writing what I wanted to do where I wanted to see myself it all fell into place. I remember I was in my apartment and I told my husband Aaron , I have to find a job I can’t sit in this house any longer it’s unhealthy for me. I need an outlet I need to be around people. I need to occupy myself. I need responsibility, So what did I do , right wrote my own narrative. I got a job and it was the best thing ever. There after everything started to fall into place. I no longer played memories in my mind of my mom‘s death, do you wanna know why because I had a responsibility’s to do at my job. I no longer felt sad all the time, I no longer cried , and do you want to know why, because people at my job were happy and so guess what it made me happy. I had to take my life back. It was time out for the enemy writing my story. I had to take the PEN back and write my own story with GOD by my side.

People of God take the Pen back and write your own narrative. Write out goals, write out short time goals, write out long-term goals and stick with it. Yes it’s going to be hard yes some days you’re not going to feel like it but lean on God he is your strength. He won’t let you fall. Keep your eyes on him keep your heart and mind on him and do the work. WRITE YOUR OWN NARRATIVE.

I pray on this day that you will have the strength you will have the courage to write your own narrative that you will take the pen back from the enemies hand and begin to write how your life will be with God‘s help how you wanna see the rest of your days live. I asked that you will be strengthened each and every day I asked that the Lord will comfort you and keep you on a daily basis I asked that you will not be in a dark place but the Lord will shine his light and the mighty name of Jesus I asked that God will continue to just wrap his loving arms around you I ask God that he would never leave us nor forsake us I asked God that he will continue to just love on us love on us Lord like never before I asked that your love is just so overpowering right now in the name of Jesus I ask God that you will wipe every tear from our eyes and I asked father that you would just continue to just be there for us each and every day as we walk this journey of overcoming as we walk this journey of being a survivor Lord I got asked if we give you 50% you will give us the other 50% and together it will be 100% percent and the 100% has come that we are healed and to never look back for we will overcome in the mighty name of Jesus I ask for peace of peace is what surpasses all understanding I release love in the name of Jesus and I thank you God and I praise you father for everything that you’re doing everything that you’ve done and everything that you’re going to do you are worthy to be praised in the mighty name of Jesus I pray amen be blessed people of God and I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday.
