Hi my fellow readers, Today I wanted to talk about Fathers. Father’s Day is coming up, and it’s my first without the man I knew as my daddy. My daddy was everything. He was a hard worker, he loved his family, his wife and most of all GOD. My daddy was the jack of all trade. He would work a full time job, which he loved then come home and fix things around the house. He would cut the grass, change the oil on both cars( his and grandma). Wash the cars, take our bikes out from the basement so we could ride them, then grill. Oh how he loved to grill and loved WATERMELON 🍉. My daddy could truly do any and everything. He never once complained on how tired he was, he just knew what had to be done and did it . He’d definitely fall asleep though if he sat down and grandma would say, Joe if your tired go lay down. He’d say no Brenda (that’s grandma name for those who didn’t know) I’m alright and get up and finish what he was doing. Daddy and I had some good times. I remember waking up early Saturday mornings going to get a hotdog, chips and soda and reading the news paper to him and people watching. Boy did I enjoy that time because it was just us. What full circle those events came around. When I was in college we rode the train together every morning and guess what, we read the paper together. I looked forward to that every morning. Daddy also had a love for his camera. Man oh man he’d take that thing everywhere. He truly captured every special moment. I could go on an on about my daddy. He took pride in his clothes. I’ve knew seen a crease in somebody pants so sharp it’ll cut you until I seen daddy pants. But that was my daddy. The love he showed to each and everyone of us was just outta this world and I’m so appreciative. DADDY I MISS YOU DEARLY IVE NEVER STOP LOVING YOU YOU ARE MY DADDY FOREVER AND FOREVER. I’ll cherish all the memories, all the laughs, and just everything about you. You truly fought the good fight Daddy.

This topic was hard for me I cried the whole time I was writing. It was so much more I could’ve said but I can’t stop crying. I miss my daddy and I ask that you keep my family in your prayers

“I pray for you you pray for me and we pray for each other”

“I care for you you care for me and we care for each other.” (Roberta‘s house)

Proverbs 22:6: “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Proverbs 20:7: “The righteous man walks in his integrity; His children are blessed after him.”

My prayer is that the lord will comfort each and everyone of us one who’s lost their dads or father figure. Lord be with us this weekend and for the rest of our lives. And I thank you for it in Jesus name I pray Amen
