Happy Tuesday! Last week we talk about writing our own narrative. This week I wanted to talk about the importance of journaling. I remember in 2018 right after my mom died, I’m on the phone with my aunty (Ahmia). I’m talking and talking non stop, and she said me Jasmine do you journal? I told her no and she told me to start because it was a good way to get out everything I had stuck inside. Also I should do it so years from now I can look how far I’ve come. At first I was like okay but then after things kept happening in my life, I broke down and said okay I’ll start. Everyday I would recap my day and talk about how I was feeling and so on. I would write pages and pages just all for one day. As I begin to pray and talk to GOD I start writing prayers in my journal and even questions that I had for GOD. When I say it felt like a huge weight was lifting up off my shoulders, and GOD begin to answer the questions I had my GOD. The deliverance that started to take place in my life the more I wrote the better I felt. I use to feel so alone and writing help me feel like I had someone to talk to. I called it my own therapy session. Sometimes when you can’t talk

,when your feeling down ,when your feeling lonely, all you can do is write. I have some many journals dating back from feb2018 to Dec 2019 I could write a book. I haven’t written as much as I use to, but I’m glad my aunt told me to because it change my life/saved my life. I believe GOD put that on her heart to tell me. When your going through you can’t hear from but guess what I heard her. Lord I thank you for that. I thank you for placing that on Aunty‘s heart so that I could begin my healing. Lord I just thank you for even allowing me to share this experience with my fellow readers. On this Tuesday I encourage you to write any and everything. Dated each and every day. Years from now you can see how far you’ve come! Don’t hold back. When going through the grieving process you’re going to have ups and you’re going to have downs and I feel like everything needs to written. When you overcome and trust me you will and you look back on how GOD delivered you and set you free you can praise him each and everyday. This is another form of healing. This is another way of doing our work remember, we ask God if we meet him 50% and he meets us 50% then that’s 100%. We’re 1 step closer to overcoming. Give this process a chance. We have to trust the process to be free. (John 8:36Who the son sets free is free indeed).

Lord I ask that you free us from grief. Lord I ask that you free Us from heartache and from loneliness father I ask that you shine your light father right now in the name of Jesus I asked god that you dry our tears God I ask that you heal our broken hearts in the mighty name of Jesus and father God I ask if we continue to do our work father God that you would help us Along on this journey of overcoming. father God I do believe that we will overcome we have already overcame and I am just thanking and praising you father God in the mighty name of Jesus I pray amen amen.

Amen. I send myself emails. It definitely feels like a weight lifted when writing.

Amen! Continue to journal even if it isn’t everyday. Journaling doesn’t have to be in written form. You can also make video or audio journals.
